Challenge
Sisu VR, our partner specializing in HR & immersive safety training experiences, faced a significant challenge: how to dynamically update 3D assets within their Unity-based training applications. The goal was to create interactive scenarios where the 3D environment could adapt in real-time based on user input. This would significantly enhance the realism and effectiveness of their training programs.
Results
To address this challenge, Sisu VR turned to echo3D's 3D Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. By integrating echo3D into their Unity application, they were able to achieve real-time updates of 3D assets, creating a truly dynamic and interactive training experience.

The Challenge
Before integrating echo3D, Sisu VR faced several challenges:
- Real-Time Interactivity: The training app required the ability to instantly adapt 3D assets based on user responses, a task that was cumbersome and time-intensive with their existing workflows.
- Streamlined Updates: Manually updating assets in the app hindered efficiency and slowed down content iteration.
- User-Centric Design: Sisu VR needed a solution that would allow non-technical team members to manage and update 3D content without relying on developers.
The Solution
Sisu VR integrated echo3D’s 3D DAM into their Unity app, leveraging its no-code asset management tools and real-time content delivery. This allowed them to:
-
Dynamically Update Assets: Using echo3D’s API, Sisu VR replaced static models with real-time asset updates based on user interactions in the app. For example, if a user selected a specific training response, the app instantly loaded the corresponding 3D scenario or object via echo3D.
-
Simplify Workflows: The no-code engine enabled Sisu VR to manage and deploy 3D assets without extensive technical input, allowing designers and trainers to focus on content rather than infrastructure.
-
Enhance Collaboration: Teams could upload and tag assets on the echo3D platform, ensuring version control and easy retrieval during app development and updates.
The Results
Sisu VR was able to dramatically reduce the time required to update 3D assets within the app, enabling rapid iteration and content deployment. Real-time updates enriched the interactivity of the training app, delivering a more responsive and engaging user experience. Also, by eliminating the need for extensive coding and duplicate asset management, Sisu VR saved on development time and resources.
